Originally published as 4 separate books (and later combined into one volume), The Brothers of Gwynedd was reissued earlier this month. Having finished the first "book" last week, I thought I would check out covers for the four volumes (all years are approximate).

These are all pretty masculine looking covers and in stark contrast to the cover for the new combined volume:

Those are lovely, thanks for sharing. If memory serves, the 1991 covers are all put together on one cover for the previous "quarter" version.
The 1991 editions look like the edition of "The Bloody Battle of Shrewsbury" that I suppose came out that same year.
I noticed on the cover of the new edition (as we were headed home from the book store) that neither pictures fits the time period covered in the book. :) I was quite surprised to realize the bottom picture was of Richard III.
