Time For More Cheesy Romance

I was reminded of these books today when Marie over at The Burton Review indicated that she had gotten one of them last week.  Published in the mid 1980's, the books cover various members of William Marshall's extended family.  Even though I've had them on my TBR list for quite some time, I think I'm just a little bit nervous about reading them since I absolutely adore Elizabeth Chadwick's version of the Marshalls.  I'm not sure if they have to be read in any particular order.   Has anyone read any of these??

I was eyeing those too and mooched a couple of them.

I just noticed a group at Goodreads called Bodice Rippers Anonymous (or something like that). They've got a covers thread going that quite interesting :p

That is so funny that you mentioned me because I was just dropping by and boom there are the book covers for the three books I just got, and boom, there's my name too.. LOL
Never thought I would be in the same post as "cheesy romance". It's all good, let's hope it's not too cheesy behind the covers!!

Well the covers certainly are something else! I went ahead and used up some PBS credits to get copies of them before they were all gone!

I have Dawn of the White Rose - bought in a charity shop for 50p. William instantly has 10 yeas knocked off his age to suit the romance genre - which would mean John Marshal was still married to his first wife at the time of W's conception!

Welcome to my blog collection of book covers. In the course of looking for books on ebay, I have come across some very interesting book covers. I didn't always end up buying the book, so the covers shown here aren't necessarily ones that I own. Just ones I liked, disliked or thought were funny, cheesy, etc. I'm no expert when it comes to creating stuff like this, so we'll see how well this format works. Suggestions are always appreciated!
